On July 1, 2010 a new entry in the business register became effective. Pursuant to this entry Trask solutions ceased to operate as a private limited company (Trask solutions s.r.o.) and commenced its activities under a new name, Trask solutions a.s., i.e. as a company limited by shares. The chairman of the board of directors is Filip Tománek, other members of the board are the long-term members of the management of the former Trask solutions s.r.o.
Trask's clients are prominent companies and organizations from the area of banking, finance, telecommunication, public administration and other sectors. The predecessor of the current Trask a.s. has been on the local market since 1994. The reason for the change of the legal form was, foremost, a significant increase of company's share capital from 2 million to 20 million Czech crowns, in order to cover the needs for further development.
Nowadays the company has over 180 employees and has turnover of hundreds of millions of Czech crowns which is growing every year. A renowned professional services organization Deloitte & Touche has compiled a list of 50 most successful central European technology companies and Trask has placed 32nd in this list in 2009. This is an outstanding result especially given the fact that we ended up fourth of all the Czech companies taking part in this competition.
The change of the legal form into a company limited by shares should also help form its image of a large, important company among lay public. It should be stressed out that among Trask a.s. customers are such companies as Česká spořitelna, ČSOB, GE Money, Komerční banka, Telefónica 02 and others.
Full legal continuity is guaranteed by a universal succession of the company limited by shares to all rights and obligations of the former private limited company. The suppliers and customer will therefore not experience any changes to current business relationships. This involves maintaining the current company address, its tax identification number and other formal attributes. Trask a.s. will also inform all the business partners on the transformation officially via e-mail and regular mail.
By changing the legal form the private limited company does not cease to exist; only its internal structures and legal standing of the shareholders changes. The ownership structure remains unchanged.
